XPower by Xantrex Powerpacks

Our simplest and most affordable emergency power system, XPower Powerpacks integrate a rechargeable battery and an inverter in a portable package. They provide between 300 watts and 1500 watts of power away from a utility outlet to run electronics and appliances. Powerpacks can jumpstart vehicles and many models have a built-in air compressor to inflate tires or small toys. They can be recharged using household AC power or a DC source such as a car battery or solar panel.  For more information, visit our Portable Power section.

Backup power for telecom and industrial devices

For sensitive telecom and industrial devices the Xantrex Datacom Inverter (XDI) is the most versatile modular rack mounted inverter system available. It provides backup for applications requiring constant AC power from standard -48 V battery systems or 40 to 60 VDC sources.

The XDI is a compact, true sine-wave 2000 VA/1500 W inverter module. Rated for continuous duty, the 1 U (1.7-inch) units conveniently fit into standard 19-inch equipment racks.

The XDI has an optional Ethernet interface card for remote monitoring. It is easily scalable by adding parallel-connected modules and can be configured in N+1 single or three-phase arrays for maximum reliability. For more information, click here.

Power Panel System

Xantrex Power Panels are complete wall-mountable systems that arrive in modular form and are designed for use with either one or two SW Plus inverters. Installing a Power Panel is easy -- an electrician simply mounts the modules to a wall and installs code-compliant wiring.  It is then connected to a battery bank and power is run to the electric sub panel in the home. All necessary AC and DC circuit breakers and enclosures are available from the Xantrex factory. Power Panels are for indoor installation only and are shipped by UPS.
