It is not surprising that Toyota Motor Sales new headquarters would feature one of the largest commercial solar rooftop installations in the USA, afterall, the company is a world-leader in developing advanced electric, gas-electric hybrid and fuel cell hybrid vehicles so building a green office complex is a logical step.

Toyota Sales turned to solar energy and Xantrex PV Series inverters to supply the electricity for its new headquarters.

Covering five building rooftops and supplying 20 per cent of the building’s power requirement, the system produces enough energy to power more than 500 homes. The system is one of the largest commercial solar rooftop installations in the USA.
