Xantrex develops and manufactures megawatt-scale converters for wind turbine OEMs.  Each converter is custom-designed to provide optimum performance with a specific generator.  The wind converter portfolio contains converters for both doubly-fed and synchronous generators in the range from 1.5 to 2.5MW.
