About Fleet and Utility Systems
Xantrex inverters take stored battery power and silently convert it to AC power to run tools and equipment from the vehicle. This eliminates the costs of installing and maintaining noisy generators as a mobile AC power source.

Inverters draw their power either from the starting battery or an auxiliary battery bank. Several built-in protection features ensure that loads connected to the inverter do not damage the battery or drop the voltage too low. Depending on the configuration, batteries are recharged either by the vehicle’s alternator or from an external AC power source. Xantrex provides a variety of true and modified sine wave inverters for both light and heavy duty applications, as well as battery chargers and inverter/chargers for specific work vehicle purposes. We also offer portable XPower Powerpacks that run electrical tools and equipment when working away from the vehicle. |
