Xantrex Technology Inc. and TestMart announce exclusive U.S. government services partnership

New agreement makes it easier for government users and contractors to research and buy Xantrex’s superior quality power electronics products
Vancouver, BC and San Bruno, CA, April 18, 2005 - Xantrex Technology Inc. (TSX:XTX), a world leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of advanced power electronic products, announced today a new exclusive partnership agreement with TestMart of San Bruno, CA, the leading equipment and services supplier to the U.S. government for test and measurement products. TestMart will market and sell an exclusive catalog of Xantrex’s high-performance programmable power supplies and power systems to the U.S. government and federal contractor marketplace.
The catalog is a comprehensive selection of Xantrex’s programmable power products, which provide precise variable output direct current power up to 12 kW in full, half and quarter rack packages for laboratory, ATE, R&D, product test and design, and bulk power applications. Xantrex products are used in semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, telecom, laser, oil services and medical equipment.
Under the agreement, these DC power products will be offered exclusively to all branches of the U.S. federal government including authorized prime contractors under a set of General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules (MAS). TestMart will provide Xantrex and its customers all content, transaction, marketing, sales support and reporting services around the product catalog. TestMart will manage the presentation and order processing though the GSA’s e-commerce Web site, www.GSAAdvantage.gov, and the company’s two online marketplaces www.testmart.com and www.navicpmart.com.
