Powerpacks Look here for tips and suggestions about how to get the most from your Xantrex Xpower Powerpack.
Battery recycling for Powerpacks
Xantrex disposes of batteries from returned Powerpacks through recycling services which recycle or safely dispose of the returned batteries.
End users wishing to safely dispose of batteries are encouraged to return them to local recycling depots. The website batterycouncil.org links to web resources to help our customers become aware of the local recycling programs in the US so that they can make an informed choice about the disposal of their products.
In Canada, for all lead acid batteries 2 lbs./1kg or more, the battery is fully recyclable and should be accepted at any location that accepts common automotive starter batteries. Examples of places that accept these are municipal recycling drop-off centres, scrap metal dealers, and retailers who sell automotive replacement lead acid starter batteries.
